STEP 2: ASSEMBLING THE TABLE SAWING COMPONENTS YOU WILL NEED TO GET STARTED

Step 1

Start by attaching the Saw Arbor to the Saw Blade play video

Step 2

Next, slide the Saw Blade with Arbor into the Lower Saw Guard and close the gap on the two guard halves until the adjustable half is about 1" to 1-1/2" from the Saw Blade. play video

Step 3

Use the 5/32" Allen Wrench to attach the Saw Guard to the Quill Housing. Then attach the Blade with Arbor onto the Quill Spindle. Be certain that the Arbor Setscrew and flat on the Spindle are aligned, then tighten the Setscrew with the Allen Wrench. play video

Step 4

Install the twin Tubes of the Worktable into the tube holes of the Table Carriage. play video

Next, slide the Carriage against the Rubber Headstock/Carriage Stop Ring and then lower the Table over the Saw Blade.

Install the Upper Saw Guard play video

Install the Fixed Extension Table (if necessary for large workpiece support) play video

Again, if necessary for large workpiece support , (and if they were included with your machine model), install the Floating Extension Table Tubes into their receptacles on the Main and Fixed Extension Tables -- and the Floating Extension Tables onto the Table Tubes. play video

If the Floating Extension Table(s) are to be used outboard of the Fixed Extension Table, support the outboard ends of the Tubes with the Telescoping Table Legs. play video

When making Rip Cuts (cutting to width WITH the grain of your wood), attach the Rip Fence to the Main Worktable. Caution: For safety reasons, NEVER use the Rip Fence and Miter Gauge in unison! play video

When Crosscutting (cutting to length ACROSS the grain of the wood), slide the steel bar of the Miter Gauge into the Worktable Miter Guage Slot(s). play video
